Restaurant Hendrik (formerly North Brabant) has reopened after an intensive renovation that preserved its classic character. We continue the tradition of baking traditional pancakes in a personal, private ambiance. Since 1967 this former coach house has been a familiar address to settle down during a walk, bike ride, boat trip, with (grand) children or friends.
Now run by our family: In our youth we were children here and we wish every child such a memory. Many things change but the homely, cozy, old Dutch of this restaurant must be preserved for the future. We have an unparalleled, spacious and sheltered terrace in the sun where it is nice to stay in the winter by patio heating. Furthermore there is a "wishing garden" with a wishing well and a garden house in the green.
Our pancakes are traditionally prepared with primal flour from the local mill "de Ruiter" in Vreeland. We serve several other dishes, so there is something for everyone. Furthermore, we serve the best fresh apple pie from patisserie Holtkamp.
